Our
Mission
Our mission at Fish River Rural Health (FRRH) is to provide access to comprehensive primary and preventive care of the highest quality to the underserved population and to improve the healthcare status of the residents of the Upper St. John Valley.
Our Philosophy
FRRH’s service philosophy is to remove the barriers that some people face to make health care truly accessible at a price everyone can afford.
We are a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) which makes our services affordable to all who need them. Our sliding fee discount program reduces fees according to family size and income, per Federal Poverty Guidelines. This is made possible through funding from the Bureau of Primary Health Care. To inquire or apply for FRRH’s Sliding Fee Discount Program, please get in touch with the Outreach & Enrollment Coordinator at (207) 316-6446.
Fish River Rural Health Center is nationally accredited for quality and is an FTCA-deemed facility.
This health center receives HHS funding and has Federal Public Health Service (PHS) deemed status with respect to certain health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals.
