MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST

Fish River Rural Health (FRRH) is accepting applications for a full-time Medical Receptionist at its Eagle Lake Health Center. The ideal candidate must be professional, reliable, compassionate, self-motivated, detailed-oriented, mission minded, have excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-pace clinical office setting. The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting the entire clinical team to deliver exceptional patient care services in a manner which promotes the team approach. Through office workflows, the medical receptionist will be responsible for performing front office duties, which includes answering phones; patient scheduling; greeting/assisting patients; obtaining necessary insurance and other billing information; collecting payments; daily batching/posting; scheduling follow-up patient visits; etc. Experience with an Electronic Health Record [EHR] system is highly preferred. Computer skills specifically Microsoft Word and Excel and experience with data registries, insurance portals, tracking logs, etc. preferred. Health care background preferred. Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED required. Medical receptionist training or two years’ experience in a clinical practice office, preferred. Ability to speak French helpful, but not required. MEDICAL ASSISTANT

Fish River Rural Health (FRRH) is accepting applications for a full-time Medical Assistant, to work with a distinguished team of professionals at all our well-established and expanding clinical practices. The ideal candidate must be professional, reliable, caring and compassionate, mission-minded, have excellent communication skills [written and verbal], adapt to ongoing requirement changes, and be able to multi-task in a high volume fast-paced clinical office setting. The FRRH practice team is dedicated to providing the most effective patient-centered care to our community and improving patient health outcomes. The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting a team of healthcare providers to deliver exceptional patient care services and perform all duties in a manner which promotes the team approach. Through departmental workflow, the Medical Assistant will be required to room patients [patient set-up]; immunizations; injections; phlebotomy; maintaining accurate patient medication lists, medical histories, and other clinical documentation; maintaining tracking systems and providing patient education. Experience with an Electronic Health Record system is highly preferred. Medical Assistant experience, or prior working knowledge in the medical field, or in a medical office setting, required. Computer skills and knowledge required. Ability to speak French helpful, but not required. Excellent fringe benefits available.
